We're recruiting friendly, grooming-experienced dogs of certain breeds and coat types to help our students practise breed-standard trims and coat-specific techniques. Pre-approved dogs that can attend regularly may qualify for a further discount on our already reduced student grooming prices.

Before you book
Professional grooming: Please tell us about coat matting, medical conditions and handling sensitivities. An additional matting or excessive-soiling charge may apply: €10 small, €15 medium, €20 large, €25 extra-large, as set out in our current terms.
Student grooming: Dogs must have attended a professional groom in the past six months, be comfortable with unfamiliar people and dogs, and be suitable for a longer, tutor-supervised training session (approximately three hours). First-time grooms are not suitable.
Booking and cancellation: Our current professional grooming terms refer to a 24-hour cooling-off period and generally require one week's notice thereafter for refunds. We will confirm the exact cooling-off conditions and present the full service-specific terms during booking; statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Will a student groom take longer than a professional groom?
It may take considerably longer. Students are learning and practising grooming techniques, and their tutors need time to provide guidance. Please allow sufficient time for collection.
When are professional grooming appointments available?
Professional grooming appointments are available Monday to Friday, subject to appointment availability.
Are your professional groomers qualified?
Yes. Our professional appointments are provided by qualified groomers. Please contact us if you have questions about the best service for your dog.
What is included in a Professional Pamper Groom?
A Professional Pamper Groom includes bathing, drying and appropriate brushing, along with nail trimming and ear care as suitable for your dog. It does not include a haircut.
What is included in a Professional Full Groom?
A Professional Full Groom includes bathing, drying, a haircut or coat trim, brushing, and suitable nail and ear care.
Why do long-coated dogs cost more than short-coated dogs?
Long or dense coats often need significantly more drying and brushing time. For example, a Labrador with a short coat may take less time than a similar-sized Samoyed with a very dense double coat.
Our pamper prices distinguish between short and long coats to reflect the different grooming requirements.
Do all dogs need a haircut?
No. Many dogs benefit from regular bathing, brushing, drying and appropriate coat maintenance without needing their coat clipped. The right service depends on breed, coat type and condition.
Can puppies attend grooming appointments?
Contact our team to discuss your puppy's age, coat type, handling experiences and grooming requirements. We'll advise which available service may be appropriate.
Can nervous or anxious dogs be groomed?
Please tell us about any fears, sensitivities or previous grooming difficulties before booking. We'll assess which approach or appointment may be appropriate and whether a standard grooming session is suitable.
What if my dog has a matted coat?

Can I book a Freshen Up without daycare?
No. Freshen Ups are only available to active Creedons daycare members and must be combined with an eligible daycare visit on the same date.
Can my dog be groomed while attending daycare?
Yes. Active daycare members can book an eligible Freshen Up for the same date as their daycare visit, subject to availability.
Do daycare memberships include grooming discounts?
Yes. Bronze and Silver memberships include monthly Freshen Up discounts, while Gold includes an eligible monthly Freshen Up benefit, subject to the relevant membership conditions.
How do I choose the correct dog size?
Choose the size category that most accurately reflects your dog and read the service description. If you're unsure, contact us before booking, particularly where coat density or grooming requirements are unusual for your dog's size.
Can the price change because of coat condition?
Extensive matting, unusual coat condition or extra grooming requirements may mean additional work is needed. Any additional chargeable work or revised service should be discussed with you beforehand.
What should I tell the groomer before booking?
Please disclose relevant health conditions, skin sensitivities, recent operations, medications, behavioural concerns, previous grooming difficulties and coat matting.
What happens if my dog becomes distressed during grooming?
Our team may change the approach, take a break or stop the groom if continuing is inappropriate for the dog's welfare or safety. We'll discuss concerns and possible next steps with you.
