Training should strengthen your relationship, not damage it.
We focus on helping dogs learn what to do, rather than simply punishing what we don’t want.
That means practical, reward-based exercises, achievable homework and helping owners understand why dogs behave the way they do.
Our programmes draw on the canine behaviour and welfare principles behind Creedons, with an emphasis on confidence, communication and real-world skills.
Because the best training doesn’t just work inside a classroom. It helps you and your dog enjoy everyday life together.

Our four-week programmes give owners a structured introduction to useful skills, along with exercises to practise at home between classes.
Lessons are designed to develop skills progressively, taking account of the dogs attending and their individual learning needs.
We don’t promise that every dog will master every exercise in four weeks. Our goal is to help you develop the skills and confidence to continue successfully.

How long is the Perfect Puppy Problem Prevention Programme?
It consists of four weekly training classes, designed to help owners teach confidence, social skills, recall, walking and other useful puppy foundations.
What age puppies can attend puppy training?
The programme is intended for puppies under approximately six months. Please check the specific course requirements when booking.
What will my puppy learn during the four weeks?
Our course aims to introduce the foundations of attention, recall, loose-lead walking, polite greetings, confidence, appropriate social experiences, handling and prevention of common puppy problems.
Can an older puppy attend the Good Manners course?
Yes, adolescent dogs may be suitable for the Good Manners and Life Skills Programme. Our team can advise which group best suits your dog’s age and behaviour.
What is covered in the Adolescent & Adult Good Manners Programme?
The four-week programme focuses on practical life skills such as polite greetings, loose-lead walking, recall, settling, attention and responding around everyday distractions.
Does my adult dog need previous training?
No advanced training is required, although dogs need to be suitable for a group environment. We can help you choose an appropriate programme.
What dog training methods do you use?
Our programmes focus on positive reinforcement and reward-based methods, with an emphasis on dog welfare, understanding and practical teaching.
Is the puppy programme about preventing behaviour problems?
Yes. The course is designed to help owners build good habits early and reduce the likelihood of common preventable difficulties through training, management and appropriate learning experiences.
No course can guarantee that a dog will never develop a behavioural concern.
Should I book one private session or a three-session package?
A single session suits a focused training question or initial appointment. Three sessions offer more opportunity to practise, review progress and adjust your plan.
Many training goals benefit from consistency over time.
How much is private dog training in Cork?
SimplyBook currently shows €169.99 for one private training hour or €449 for the three-session package. Planned promotional prices are €99 and €269, pending activation.
Offers are subject to promotional place availability.
Are private training sessions an hour long?
Yes. The advertised individual sessions are 60 minutes, and the three-session package includes three 60-minute appointments.
Will I receive training exercises to practise at home?
Yes. Practice between sessions is an important part of learning. Your trainer will explain exercises and practical steps relevant to your training goals.
Are puppy and adult dog classes held every week?
Each programme runs over four weekly classes, but new courses start on scheduled dates rather than necessarily beginning every week.
Please check our booking system for upcoming courses.
Can a reactive dog attend a group class?
Not necessarily. A group class may be unsuitable for dogs who become highly distressed or unsafe around unfamiliar dogs or people.
Please discuss these concerns with us before booking so we can advise on suitability or appropriate specialist support.
Do you currently run a Reactive Recovery Programme?
Our Reactive Recovery group programme is not currently available. Please contact our team if you need guidance on finding an appropriate service for more complex behavioural concerns.
Can you help with aggression or a bite history?
These cases require careful assessment and may need veterinary involvement or specialist clinical behaviour support. Please tell us about any bite history or serious aggressive behaviour before booking an ordinary training service.
What should I bring to dog training?
Bring your dog on suitable, comfortable equipment, along with plenty of small, appealing food rewards. Check the booking confirmation for any additional items and course-specific instructions.
Can multiple family members attend training?
Family involvement can be beneficial, but attendance limits may depend on the course and available space. Please check with our team before bringing additional participants.
Can I book training and daycare at Creedons?
Creedons offers both training and doggie daycare. These are separate services, although eligible daycare customers can also explore training options.
How long will it take to see results?
Progress depends on your dog’s previous learning, their environment, the training goal and how consistently exercises are practised. Your trainer can help you set realistic expectations and review progress.
When does the flash sale end?
The proposed training relaunch discount is not yet live in the booking system. We will confirm availability and offer conditions when launched.
There is no guaranteed end date, so please check available appointments before booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
Each course and appointment is subject to its applicable booking, cancellation and rescheduling conditions. Please review them when booking.
